Do you need dry air? SolidAir has it!

A real requirement for many manufacturing and other processes is dry air. SolidAir is proud to present a new range of refridgerated air dryers, that have passed the stringent testing of our technical experts within our challenging local conditions. Inspiration for the name of this range of dryers came from their impressive performance.

" the driest air on earth can be found in the driest place on earth ... the Atacama desert in Chile, South America. There are sterile, intimidating stretches where rain has never been recorded ... " http://ngm.nationalgeographic.com/ngm/0308/feature3/

SolidAir's Atacama Modular Dryers provide not only flexibility through its modular system, but excellent performance in instances of high ambient (45 0C) and high inlet (55 0C) temperatures. By cooling the compressed air to 5 0C at pressure and ensuring a reduced compressed air pressure drop all the troublesome liquids that may affect normal processes is removed and reliable dry air is ensured where and when you need it.

SolidAir's Atacama Modular Dryers are sized to match standard compressor outputs, simplifying the sizing process and the performance of all the combinations shown in the technical tabulation below, has been tested and certified.

Features:
  • a control panel incorporates a digital thermometer to monitor the dew point, it controls the timed automatic drain function and the on/off switching of the condenser fan
  • a patented hot gas bypass valve allows the dryer to operate between no air flow to maximum air flow maintaining a steady dew point while preventing freezing in all conditions
  • the aluminium heat exchanger is designed to guide the air flow vertically thus ensuring that condensed liquid naturally gathers at the lowest point allowing easy drainage via the electronic automatic drain
  • quality components have been selected when designing this package thus ensuring trouble free operation and a long life
